“It was great to be able to connect with so many esteemed leaders in the field that are passionate about engaging students to join our workforce. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations I had with the attendees at my table, they were insightful, and we were able to share our perspectives on the subject matter. The information shared at this event was wonderful, everyone was able to learn from each other and take those lessons back to their organizations for implementation.”

Derek Cheung, Assistant Administrator, HumanGood

“The biggest value add for me has been the ability to connect with operators, association leadership, and other academics is a smaller, more intimate venue.  It is truly an opportunity to build and develop relationships with others unlike any other conference I have attended.  I have also always felt attendees are there with the same goal in mind; there are no hidden agendas or side deals being made.”

Dr. Nancy Swanger, Founding Director, Granger Cobb Institute for Senior Living. Washington State University

“I received an immense amount of motivation for the senior living field after attending the Symposium. My knowledge and network were truly broadened through all of the events at the symposium. As a student I was introduced to many professionals who had incredible projections and plans in long term care. The conversation and energy in the different workgroups/attendees at the symposium were truly incredible.”

Lily Kiffmeyer, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Student 25′
