ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The USI Bachelor of Science in Health Administration (BSHA) provides students with a curriculum focused on the foundational knowledge and skills in healthcare administration in both acute and post-acute care. The goal is to prepare highly qualified entry-level graduates for career opportunities in healthcare administration.
The program is based on the competencies established by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) and the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Board (NAB). *Please note that the program is not NAB accredited, but follow NAB standards

Health Administration majors choose from either a two semester internship totaling 7 credit hours or a two semester administrator in training (AIT) residency totaling 12 credit hours.
