ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Texas State University School of Health Administration is a high-quality organization with renowned faculty. TSU has taught competency-based courses that count toward nationally-accredited degree and certificate programs for over 30 years. The school boasts nine board certified by the American College of Healthcare Executives at the highest level of Fellow, six with significant international experience, five faculty with the rank of Professor, three certified at the Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, two board certified in health information management, one certified in healthcare finance, one certified in analytics (INFORMS CAP and PStat) and a Chartered Scientist of the Royal Statistical Society.

INTERNSHIP

A management internship (with an organization whose service or function is related to the HCM curriculum) is required in the student's final semester of baccalaureate work. Students in the Clinical Manager Track will complete a 3-credit hour (120 contact hours) internship. All other tracks will complete a 6-credit hour (240 contact hours) internship.
